Cucina Povera is our latest expression of our love of hospitality. Simple, tasty and fresh food!

Our roots are Australian and tracking back further Southern Italian (on Teresa’s side…). Italian food is a neighborhood staple all over Australia, credited for both bringing espresso to Australia as well as a style of cooking so unique and identifiable.

More than a specific set of stringent rules and recipes, the style of food was tailored to the budget, availability of product and preference of a given family.

This simple style of cooking is centered on great ingredients, tasty food and warm hospitality in abundance!
